International Women’s day Celebration at Jeevandhara Trust, Kulshekar, Mangalore

Jeevandhara Social Service Trust ® celebrated International Women’s Day on 09.03.2024 at 10:30 am in the Sacred Heart’s Primary School Hall Kulshekar. Sr Anna Maria BS the Secretary of Jeevandhara Social Service Trust ® presided over the programme. Mrs Gretta Pinto, the President of DCCW, Mangalore was the chief guest and Dr Sr Prema Misquith was the resource person.

Sr Reena BS the Director of Jeevandhara Centre Kulshekar welcomed the gathering. Dr Sr Prema Misquith explained the life style diseases that cause many diseases to the present generation such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Heart and Kidney related diseases. She also explained about various techniques to improve one’s life. Mrs Gretta Pinto highlighted the role of women in the family and in the society.

Sr Anna Maria BS in her Presidential address explained in detail the history of Women’s Empowerment and gave awareness on Human trafficking and drug menace. Women from 11 Self Help Groups, and tailoring students participated in the programme. SHG women and the tailoring students presented the cultural programme. Mrs Bharathi proposed vote of thanks to all those who were part of this venture. Ms Vinutha the Jeevandhara staff, compeered the day’s programme. Women experienced a time of togetherness and celebration.
