Bangalore: Ampere Vehicles Pvt Ltd launched Ampere-V48, A compact pluggable battery based electric scooter. Ampere –V48 comes with a wide range of features and options making it one of the most preferred EV ever since it has been launched in the market. Ampere V48 comes with an option of either the normal battery or the IQ battery. The Ampere-V48 comes with a detachable battery which can be moved back to your home and charged at any charging point of your choice. The portable battery option will give more convenient for those who lives in flats and doesn’t have a charging option in the parking lot.

Ampere-V48 weighs around 85 Kgs and reaches a max speed of 25Kmph. This vehicle runs on 250 watts hub motor, which is powered with 48 volt 20Ah battery. The vehicle has a load capacity of 100Kgs which is suitable for one adult and one child easily. The ideal charge time for a battery top up is 6-8 Hours, which can run between 50-60Kms per charge. Its dual tone body graphics with bright colors will be attractive for youth. Ampere-V48 is well equipped with front telescopic suspension and rear coil spring suspension which gives more comfort on Indian road conditions. The vehicle also has premium drum brakes that ensure safety of customers. It also comes with 10 spoke alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. Ampere-V48 also comes with a digital meter with an Electronic Instrument Cluster as a dashboard.
