Blessing of the FORM 4 Students by the Carmelite Priests in Tanzania

Published On : 22 Nov 2014   |  Reported By : FR. ROSHAN PINTO OCD

Tanzania: Exams are the times where a student becomes very much aware of prayer and goes on seeking blessings from God. And it’s very true that 99 % there should perspiration and 1% inspiration. But our Human tendency is that we really on inspiration more than preparation.

In the vicinity of Archdiocese of Songea there are many Secondary Schools and this year we Carmelites had a special privilege to have special Holy Mass in different schools and Hostels to Bless the Students of FORM 4 (SSC/SSLC/10THSTD) prior to their Board Exams. Fr. Vivian and Fr Roshan were invited to the Centenary Secondary School, St. Josephs Hostel and Mateka Secondary School to celebrate Holy Eucharist and to bless the Students of FORM 4 before their Board Exams. It was a very touching experience for the Priests as they witnessed among the students the complete surrendering themselves in the hands of God.
