Dubai: Free health benefits for taxi drivers in the UAE across all Thumbay Hospitals and Clinics, during the Taxi Drivers Wellness Week
Popular Indian actor and model Sonu Sood visited Thumbay Hospital Dubai on Saturday, 19th March 2016. He was at the hospital in connection with the ongoing ‘Taxi Drivers Wellness Week’ at the hospital, which is a special program being held across all Thumbay Group hospitals and clinics offering a host of benefits to taxi drivers in the UAE.

Sonu was welcomed at the hospital by Dr. Ashutosh Sood, Chief Operating Officer of Thumbay Hospital Dubai, Dr. Sameer Kumar, Assistant Administrative Director of Thumbay Dental Hospital Dubai, and other members of the administrative team of Thumbay Hospital Dubai. Accompanied by them, the actor toured the advanced, ultra-modern facilities at the hospital and the adjoining Thumbay Dental Hospital. He also visited the outlets of various Thumbay Group brands within the hospital, like Thumbay Medical Tourism, Thumbay Pharmacy, Zo & Mo Opticals, Nutri Plus Vita and Blends & Brews Coffee Shoppe.

The celebrity visitor was quite impressed with the latest instruments and state-of-the-art technology in use at the hospital. He formally launched the ‘Taxi Drivers Wellness Week’ and met and interacted with the taxi-drivers and other visitors. He also joined the crowd for photos and autographs.

The ‘Taxi Drivers Wellness Week’ is on until 24th March, and during this period taxi drivers can avail a wide range of services free of cost at Thumbay Group’s hospitals and clinics, which includes health checkup, General Practitioner consultation, blood sugar and blood pressure tests, weight and BMI checkup, eye test, dental consultation, teeth cleaning and demonstration of exercises for neck and back pains. All drivers who attend the camp will be given free coffee and lunch coupons. In addition, they also stand to win a return ticket to their hometown, by participating in the lucky draw contest being conducted as part of the celebrations.
