Demise of Fr. Edward. J .D'souza, the Parish Priest of St. John the Evangelist - Marol

Rev Fr Edward D'souza

DOB : 13th October 1945

Date Of Ordination: 04th November 1973

Hailed from the parish of St Joseph (Umerkhadi)

Served in various parishes of the archdiocese of Mumbai:

1) Our lady of Lourdes, (Malad)

2) St Anthony (Sakinaka)

3) St Paul (Dadar)

4) Our lady of Egypt (kalina)

5) St Andrews (Bandra)

6) Infant Jesus (Dombivali)

7) St Vincent De Paul (Khar)

8) St John the Evangelist Parish priest (Marol)

He was very much involved in the neo - catechumenal way of life, in the archdiocese.

He was a man of deep faith and was very strong in his prayer life, especially is personal communication with lord, daily.

His homilies were always very inspiring.

His attitude to life was of compassion and humility like Jesus his master and therefore he always reached out to the poor & under-privileged who were very dear to his heart.

After serving the lord so faithfully in his vineyard for almost 43 long years he has now gone peacefully to his creator on 22nd March 2016.

MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE WITH THE LORD

Funeral mass of Fr. Edward Dsouza will be on 28.03.2016 at 4pm at  St. John the Evangelist - Marol, and body wiil be kept in Church from 10.00am to pay last respect.
