Shiro has been bringing you a spectacular Pan-Asian fare for almost a decade now along with stunning décor, soothing ambience and unique cocktails. This time around, the idea is to go back to basics with an incredibly authentic and delicious Thai menu to celebrate the rich culture of Thailand. All set to host a Thai Food Festival from February 18th until March 31st, 2016, the culinary team at Shiro has handcrafted a delightful menu with dishes created around your favourite Thai flavours.

This limited time menu brings you a multi-sensory experience of Thai flavours, aromas and experiences. The menu focuses on six key flavours, namely Kaffir lime, bird’s eye chili, thai basil, lemongrass, coconut and tamarind. Each dish has been created in order to highlight the flavours while heightening your dining experience. Taking this a step further, Shiro has crafted delicious cocktails which have been inspired by the Thai menu. Each dish is prepared with the utmost precision to take you on a culinary journey through Thailand.

One of the world’s favourite cuisines, Thai food is known for fresh, bold flavours along with wholesome and comforting dishes. Shiro takes you on a journey to Thailand with preparations like the tamarind tofu in crispy cups, red snapper with spicy sambal, lemongrass chicken, satay andthai basil eggplant. Adding to this tempting array are some more dishes like the steamed chilean seabass, lobster with thai chilli sauce, prawn on sugarcane skewers and the vegetarian thai pot stickers; not to forget the delicious thai coconut soup, a classic Thai soup flavoured with galangal and kaffir lime simmered to perfection. The food menu is intricately paired alongside some unique Thai inspired cocktails like the roaring dragon which is a tempting combination of white rum, mango and chilli flakes, the som tum sling that comes replete with some of Thailand's favourite flavours like the lychee, lemongrass and oolong tea and Shiro’s beast of the east, a sweet and sour with a dash of bitters, tequila, cointreau and tamarind infused syrup making this one beast of a drink. At the same time, you cannot miss out on our Asian inspired cool and refreshing Bangkok banger (yes you heard it right!) the gin cooler with notes of lime and basil or our Siamese storm made up of tamarind tea and red chilli infused whiskey brewed in house; topped off with tamarind infused syrup that will take you straight to Thailand! It is our sincere endeavour to offer you the strong spicy and aromatic components with an extensive variety of dishes to delight the Thai food lover in you.

Get ready to experience the Orient like never before only at Shiro, UB City until end of March.
