QNET Partners With Lions Clubs International For Humanitarian Cause; Donates Kidney Dialysis Unit

Bengaluru, January 28, 2016: QNET, one of Asia’s direct selling leaders and pioneers in e-commerce, continued its humanitarian efforts under the CSR banner of We Care donating a Kidney Dialysis Unit at the Shirdi Sai Hospital, Devasandra, Bangalore .

The cost of the dialysis for patients recommended will be highly subsidized for this 100 bed hospital. The Dialysis Unit was handed over to the hospital in the presence of Mr. Richard E. Zinkiewicz, Chairman of QNET and Lion Joseph Preston, pmjf, Chairperson, Lions Clubs International Foundation.

Zinkiewicz, Chairman of QNET at a function jointly organized by Lions Clubs International and QNET and attended by members of the Club and QNET officials. The function was presided over by Lion N. Kumar, pmjf, District Governor of Lions Clubs International, District 317F, Bangalore.

QNET-WE CARE works with credible NGOs and associations like Lion’s Club to ensure effective implementation of its CSR initiatives. The company encourages active involvement of all its employees and independent representatives to work on-ground to be of service to the needy. QNET internationally has been working extensively to cater to the needs of homeless and destitute as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. In India, through its Indian operations, QNET is also a member of Health Foods and Dietary Supplements Association (HADSA).

QNET - WE CARE is a CSR initiative of QNET in India, which supports causes of the underprivileged members of society in various areas right from health of individuals of destitute adults to supporting victims of natural disasters and more. Recently, QNET - WE CARE in association with Lions Dist. 317 F Service Foundation had distributed basic household relief kits to 200 families at Meenambakkam, Chennai. These families’ homes had been washed away in the floods and were extremely grateful to receive kits that included sheets, mats, cooking pots, and other basic household items.
