The 2015 Leaders Awards (Enterprise Edition) presented the Social Enterprise of the Year Award under various categories at an event hosted at The Ashok, New Delhi on January 23. In Media and Entertainment category, 24MRC Network 2015 presented the Social Enterprise of the Year Award to Kishore Joseph, Founder Publisher of Thisweekgroup of News Portal which hosts under its staple, separate news portals in – major cities of India, viz. thisweekdelhi.com thisweekbangalore.com, thisweekchennai.com, mumbaithisweek.com, thisweekhyderabad.com, thisweekguwahati.com, thisweekpune.com, thisweekkolkata.com, thisweekkerala.com and lookbangalore.com ( Life Style News portal). The Award is in recognition of his services to connect people of a city with information primarily specific to their city and thus aim to build a more connected and informed society.

The awards ceremony was presided over by Sri Kamaljeet, Pranth Pracharak, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch, Dr. Shiv Shakti Nath Bakshi, Executive Editor, Kamal Sandesh and Sri Shant Prakash Jatav, Rashtriya Prashikshan Prabhari, Bharatiya Janata Party & President at Movement against Reservation (MAR).

Apart from being the Founder Publisher of Thisweekgroup of News Portal , Kishore Joseph is actively involved in charity activities, viz. as Trustee of Omashram, a home for the aged in Bengaluru, and has also organized many socially relevant events such as Colorothon- Draw Your Imagination , a kind of open art house for anyone of any age of any gender and of an any group who can take part in the public painting event and display their talents. According to Kishore Joseph, Colorothon is well positioned to enter the Limca Book of Records and the Guinness Book of World Records for bringing the largest number of people under one roof for painting. Kishore has also played a key role in helping to bring Blind Cricket to the mainstream, having organized the T20 World Cup for the Blind for Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled a few years back, when incidentally India beat Pakistan to be crowned champs in the finals.

Thanking 24MRC Network 2015 Leaders Awards (Enterprise Edition) for the Award, KIshore Joseph said this would inspire and motivate him in his goal to further empower and encourage people so that together we can build a better society and a better India. His future plans are to build a network of online news portals under the This Week brand in every city in the country.
