Mumbai: “Parisar Asha believes that living a successful and happy life is an Art. You need to develop creative skills to create your own destiny. So our education system must present our children with a gift that offers a creative beginning …the wonder of exploratory learning, the confidence in discovering one’s strengths, the Hope for a better future and a way of life that is worth living”

Nurturing this firm conviction, Parisar Asha is conducting a free workshop & seminar on ‘The Art of Learning for a Sustainable Tomorrow’, for more than 300 school principals on 14th January 2016, at Kohinoor Continental Hotel, Mumbai.

Today, our Indian education system is standing at the threshold of collapse. Educators are facing numerous challenges. Mugging up of mere facts and figures is not leading our children anywhere. It’s high time we start reflecting on our foundation and rethink; as to ‘what actually we want to learn?’ To enunciate on the same lines, Parisar Asha is organizing a seminar and workshop on ‘ The Art of Learning for a Sustainable Tomorrow’; a revolutionary step to help educators rediscover the ‘ why’, ‘how, ‘what’ and ‘ when’ of education through a stimulating panel discussion by eminent speakers- Dr. Pawan Sudhir- H.O. D, Arts & Aesthetics, N.C.E.R.T, Delhi; Dr. Sonali Geed- Academic Director,TIPS Group of International Chain Schools ; Ms. Maya Shahani- Chairperson, Thadomal Shahani Institute of Management and many more.

This unique initiative will be witnessed by dignitaries like Hon’ble School Education Minister, Maharashtra, Shri Vinod Tawde and Shri. Adv. Ashish Shelar, Hon’ble President of BJP, Mumbai. Famous film personality Ms. Juhi Chawla, Mr. Suresh Wadkar, Ms. Deepti Naval , Ms. Ashwini Kalsekar and business tycoon Mr. Apurva Parekh – Executive Director, Pidilite Industries Ltd, will also be present to grace this monumental event with their honorable presence.

As an individual, the system cannot be changed singlehandedly. The biggest takeaway of this unique initiative will be that the educationists will learn the art of Individual Social Responsibility (ISR) and initiate a positive wave to change mindsets to accept the emerging learning styles across the globe to make the existing education system joyous and fulfilling contributing positively towards a sustainable future. This will be a great opportunity for all our participants to understand the nuances of creativity and its importance in the mainstream education.
