Thumbay Dental Hospital Organizes Online Celebration to Mark Second Anniversary

Keeping with the social distancing and work-from-home regulations in the UAE in the wake of the worldwide Coronavirus outbreak, Thumbay Dental Hospital, the largest private academic dental hospital in the Middle East located at Thumbay Medicity, Ajman, organized an online celebration to mark its second anniversary, on 11th April 2020.

Dr. Hesham Marei, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University (GMU), Ajman was the guest of honor of the event hosted completely on a video conferencing platform, presided by Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Mehta, the COO of Thumbay Hospital, and joined by all the hospital staff from their respective workstations/homes.

 

Dr. Hesham Marei formally launched the celebrations by playing a video highlighting significant milestones in the hospital’s two year journey. Delivering the introductory speech, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Mehta spoke about the achievements of the hospital since its inception in April 2018. “During the last two years we have emerged as a leading dental hospital in the region. As of February 2020, our dental specialists have performed over 650 dental implants, 2506 extractions, 6300 restorative procedures, 1784 crowns, 1985 root canal treatments and 410 fixed orthodontic treatments,” he said.
