Thumbay Hospital Dubai Hosts Seminar on Mother & Child Medical Care

Dubai: Thumbay Hospital – Dubai, in association with Gulf Medical University, Ajman, organized a seminar on ‘Mother & Child Medical Care’ at the hospital on Thursday, 31st March 2016.

Specialist doctors of Thumbay Hospital – Dubai spoke on the various topics discussed at the seminar. The topics included:

• Cardiac Diseases in Pregnancy byDr. Tamer Taha Ismail, Specialist Cardiology
• Intrauterine Infections Spectrum & Evaluation by Dr. Anita Coutinho, Specialist Pediatrics
• Mothers Care in ICU by Dr. Islam Lotfy Elfeky, Critical Care Medicine
• Skin Diseases with Pregnancy by Dr. Ghada Elmorshidy, Dermatology Specialist
• Post Partrum Mood Disorders by Dr. Yasir Ali Malik, Specialist Psychiatrist

The seminar was accredited by MOH for 4.5 CME hours. Healthcare professionals from across the country participated in the seminar. Certificates were distributed to the attendees at the end of the program.
