Golfers Lahiri, Jeev share 52nd spot in BMW PGA championship

Virginia Water (England), May 23 (IANS): Indian golfers Anirban Lahiri and Jeev Milkha Singh shared the 52nd position after the second round of the BMW PGA Championship here on Friday.

Current Asian Tour leader and world No.41 Lahiri and Jeev - both ha d scored identical par-72s on Thursday - came up with similar scores in the second round at the Virginia Water (England).

Other Indians in the fray, Shiv Kapur finished tied 90th, while S.S.P. Chawrasia was further 10 places back after the second round that is yet to complete.

Shiv, who was the best Indian on the first day with a two-under 70, went through a bad round and returned with a five-over 77 to take his total to 147.

Chawrasia carded three-over 75 for a two-day total of four-over 148 as Italian Francesco Molinari grabbed a one-shot lead at the top over second placed AN Byoeng-hun. Molinari has a two-day total of 10-under 134.
