India to play 1-off Test, 3 ODIs against Bangladesh in June

New Delhi, May 5 (PTI) The Indian cricket team will tour Bangladesh next month to play a one-off Test and three one-day internationals.

India will leave for Bangladesh on June 7 and the first Test will be hosted in Fatullah -- the venue will host a Test after nine years -- starting June 10. The touring side will also play a practice game prior to the start of the Test match, according to a BCCI media release.

The focus will then shift to Mirpur for the three ODIs on June 18, 21 and 24 and the team will depart a couple of days later.

With monsoons forecast during the month of June, all ODIs have been assigned a reserve day.

Bangladesh have never hosted a Test in the months of June, July, August and September due to the rainy season. But this year after, the India series, South Africa will also tour Bangladesh during July-August.

Bangladesh are currently hosting Pakistan and the hosts have been in top form after blanking the tourists 3-0 in the ODIs and the one-off Twenty20. The first of the two Tests ended in a high-scoring draw.

Full schedule of India tour:

June 7: Team India arrives in Bangladesh

June 8, 9: Practice

June 10-14: 1st Test

June 15, 16 and 17: Practice

June 18: 1st ODI (June 19 Reserve day)

June 20: Practice

June 21: 2nd ODI (June 22 Reserve day)

June 23: Practice

June 24: 3rd ODI (June 25 Reserve day)

June 26: Team India departs.
