Sri Lanka 183 all out against India on first test Day 1

Galle, Aug 12 (PTI) Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin bagged six wickets to help India skittle out Sri Lanka for 183 as tea was taken on Day 1 of the first Test here today.

Electing to bat, the hosts lost regular wickets as skipper Angelo Mathews top-scored with 64 runs.

Brief Scores: Sri Lanka 183 all out in 49.4 overs (Angelo Mathews 64, Dinesh Chandimal 59; Ravichandran Ashwin 6-46, Amit Mishra 2-21).
