Mangaluru: An 11-year-old girl died after a private bus hit the two wheeler in which she was travelling hon Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Madiha, daughter of Roshan and Noor Jahan, residents of Katipalla.
The mishap occurred when Noor Jahan was on her way to attend a wedding along with her two kids in her two-wheeler.
When they reached Nanthoor, a private Udupi-Mangaluru bus tried to overtake the two-wheeler. While overtaking, the bus hit the two-wheeler due to which the trio suffered serious injuries. Madiha, who suffered severe head injuries, died at the hospital.
Roshan and his family hail from Shivamogga and three months ago Noor Jahan and her two kids started living in a rented house in Suratkal. Roshan is working in Bengaluru and his elder daughter is also studying there.
