Mangaluru: A person sliced the nose and lips of his friend in drunken stupor. He was arrested by the police on Sunday February 12. Kritiraj (25) from Naguri here stands arrested for this offence. Madhu (21), a native of Hassan, stands hospitalized with injuries.
Kritiraj works for a sticker cutting shop. Madhu, who works for a shop dealing in eggs, had become Kritiraj's friend. Sunday being holiday, the two friends got together and consumed liquor from 2 to 4 pm. After coming out of the bar, they got into a fight over some frivolous issue.
Reportedly, Madhu used derogatory words against Kritiraj's mother. Angered by this, Kritiraj swished the sticker cutting blade he had in his hand, as a result of which the nose and lips of Madhu were sliced.
