Kundapur: In an unfortunate incident, a youth who was hired to clean the septic tank attached to a toilet of a house at M Kody slipped, fell into the septic tank, and breathed his last. The deceased has been identified as Sandeep (32) from Tekkatte. He belonged to a scheduled tribe.
Sandeep was hired by Abdull Khader to attend to the cleaning work of the septic tank of Usman from M Kody. During the cleaning work, Sandeep fell down and found that he could not move his limbs and climb up. Those on the spot brought him out of the pit and took him to a hospital, but their effort could not save the youth's life.
A case stands registered against Abdul Khader in this connection in the town police station.
