Mangaluru: In a tragic incident at an apartment complex at Vas Lane, a boy who was confined inside a lift lost his life. The boy who died in this case has been identified as Muhammed Sinan (7), son of a couple from Addur, Bantwal.
The lift of the apartment is old. At around 7 pm on Thursday, Sinan's mother was preparing to go out with the three kids. When she was locking the door of the flat, Sinan suddenly entered the lift that was in the first floor. Within seconds since the boy entered the lift, the door of the lift got closed, and the lift moved down. The boy's head got stuck in the gap of the lift and he cried for help.
He was bought out, but it was already late. A case has been registered.
