Mangaluru: In a tragic incident, a school girl travelling in a school bus died after her head hit an electric pole while she was returning home in the school bus on Friday July 8. She is said to have put her head out of the window just for a moment. The incident took place at Sarbathkatte in Yeyyadi.
The deceased girl is Bhavani (9), daughter of Sudha, a resident of Jyotinagar. Bhavani was a class 4, student of Srinivas Lower Primary School at V T Road. While returning home in the school bus, Bhavani put her head outside the window and hit against an electric pole.
Bhavani died on the spot. Her body was shifted to a private hospital.
