Mangaluru: A 15-year-old boy who unexpectedly suffered an electric shock, fell into a drain and lost his life. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon at Kodical in the city. The deceased is Vighnesh. He was a resident of Abakkanagara in Kottara.
Vighnesh was taking part in a programme when he suddenly suffered electric shock. As he was jolted, Vighnesh fell into a seven feet-deep drain next to him, and suffered severe head injuries. He was rushed to the hospital immediately, but could not be saved.
Vighnesh had appeared for SSLC examinations conducted during March this year.
