The 'International Literacy Day' will be celebrated on Saturday, September 3, from 9 am to 12 pm in various Government schools across Karnataka.
Prasanna Technologies along with its employees have given a thought to promote the day by spending the valuable time with the little angels by conducting games, creating awareness about the importance of education and value education.

The sessions including games (Simple Puzzle Solving), colouring, value education via story telling on (Importance of hygiene, Respecting Teachers / Elders, Nature), awareness on Education, focusing on practical approach to provide education, Gifts for kids and Education kit for Teachers
Prasanna Technologies has put efforts to know the problems faced by the government schools in karnataka. The employees along with the management have contributed have personally visited the government schools in rural areas, spent time with the children and teachers discussing the problem faced by them.
It has also conducted value based activities, making them aware of the importance of education. Emphasis were also been given to help them improving the skill of problem solving, providing general knowledge, to know their skills in analytical & logical reasoning through simple puzzles.
The employees of Prasanna have also conducted survey to know the literacy rate in rural areas in Karnataka.A well planned syllabus has also been designed by the team in an effort to understand what really those students need. This activity based learning has been successful.
UNESCO officially proclaimed 8 September International Literacy Day to actively mobilize the international community and to promote literacy as an instrument to empower individuals, communities and societies. This year marks the 50th anniversary of International Literacy Day and UNESCO is celebrating it under the banner “Reading the Past, Writing the Future”.
