Kasargod: A debt-ridden couple ended life by consuming poison at their residence in Kolichal on Monday. The deceased couple are identified as Sunil Kumar (32) and his wife Jayalakshmi (22). He owned a computer Centre and also the proprietor of a Travel agency by name ’Rajpura’.
It is said that the neighbours who found the couple`s door locked for a long time peeped through the window and found them lying unconscious. Immediately they informed the police who said a note recovered from the house, purportedly written by Sunil said they were ending their lives as they were unable to resolve their dire financial state.
He was under severe pressure and this might have forced the couple to end life.
