Udupi: Mithun Poojary, member of Uchila Ashirwada Navodaya Swa Sahaya Sangha was seriously injured in an accident. President of the sangha, Balakrishna Poojary Uchila and members of the sangha recently handed over a cheque of Rs one lac under Dakshina Kannada Central Co-operative Bank's Chaitanya Insurance Scheme to Kamala, mother of Mithun Poojary at his residence.
A car had hit Mithun while crossing NH66 Uchila, six months ago. As he sustained serious injuries, he was admitted into a private hospital in Udupi and recently returned home on recovery. Dakshina Kannada Central Co-operative Bank president M N Rajendra Kumar was informed of the accident. He responded quickly and released Rs one lac under Chaitanya Insurance Scheme.
Mother of Mithun, Kamala Anchan, Novodaya Charitable Trust Udupi zonal stimulus Krishna Salian, Balakrishna Poojary Uchila, Dhyumani Bhat, Dinesh Suvarna, Prabhaker Poojary, Harish Poojary, Vinod Uchila, Lalaji Kunder, Sachin Uchila, Prashanth Kotian and others were present.
