Mangaluru: The DK District Committee of the Popular Front of India (PFI) staged a protest in front of the DC office on Friday to condemn the Jarkhand Government for banning the organisation in the state.
The protestors raised slogans against the Union government and Jarkhand government. They alleged that PFI was not an anti-national organisation.
The organisation has also threatened to wage a legal battle against the ban. PFI leaders Yasir Hasan, Athavulla Jokatte, Abdul Khader, Dalit leader Rakesh, District Imams Council President Rafiq Darimi and others took part in the protest.
