Udupi: District convenor of BJP industrial unit Uday Kumar Shetty Inna said that the coalition state government has completely ignored the interests of the coastal region in budget.
“The coalition government is showing stepmotherly attitude towards MLAs coastal districts. There is international airport, harbour, Konkan railway and power plants and ample of sources in the coastal region. There is supportive environment for all kind of developments. There are many educational institutions, which are contributing thousands of graduates to the society," he said.
“The budget does not support PM Modi's employment generation plan. Modi is promoting self-employment through Mudra Yojana,” he said.
Perampalli Shankar Kulal, Manjunath Upadhyaya, Denzil Mascarenhas, and Sadanand Prabhu were present.
