Kundapur: A huge fire erupted in a fishing boat in the Arabian Sea off Gangolli coast on Tuesday. Sparks erupted in the boat and in no time, spread to the diesel tank, which soon engulfed the boat.
Fortunately, fishermen on other boats who noticed the fire and the smoke billowing out from the burning boat rushed towards it and managed to rescue the fishermen on board.
However the goods in boats is said to be damaged. The estimation of loss is not known yet. The reason for fire is not yet known.
