Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, M'luru celebrate IEEE Day

Udupi: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Mangaluru chapter, observed the international level professional organization 'IEEE Day' at Robosoft Technologies, here.

On the occasion, the first ever late Dr KM Hebbar memorial lecture was also organized.

M Sathu, AGM of Corporation Bank gave the memorial lecture on the topic 'India Stack' regarding software framework developed by Government of India for various digital India applications.

Purushottam Bhat, director of Robosoft gave the late Dr K M Hebbar remembrance lecture.

Rohit Bhat, CEO and MD of Robosoft Technologies spoke on 'Latest Technology Trends'.

Prof Niranjan N Chiplunkar, chairman of IEEE Mangaluru subsection and principal of NMAMIT, Nitte welcomed the gathering and gave details of the programme and significance of IEEE day.

Dr Annappa, vice chair of IEEE Mangaluru subsection and professor at NITK, Surathkal gave an overview of the programmes organised by IEEE Mangaluru subsection. Dr Ujjwal Verma, faculty from MIT, Manipal, announced the details of the prize winner of the technical competition held in association with IEEE Mangaluru.

Karthik from Robosoft Technologies proposed the vote of thanks. Ashwini, secretary of IEEE Mangaluru and faculty in Canara Engineering college compered the programme.
