Bengaluru: A 22-inch LED television screen was set up near the conference hall of the Bangalore Police headquarters to keep a tab on the proceedings inside the hall. But suddenly this TV screen that was set up to keep a tab, went missing. As soon as it was found missing a special team was formed to trace the culprits.
Prima facie it looks like somebody has walked away with the screen without the knowledge of those in the department headquarters. "It was not that the LED screen did not cost much, but the fact that such incident took place in the DGP Office, and the brazen way it has happened is not acceptable," police sources said.
The department has set up an internal team which includes police personnel and staff at the DGP office who will investigate the matter. With the help of 13 CCTV cameras, the footage of the incident is being tracked by officials. A first information report (FIR) has been registered at the Halasuru Police Station.
