Mangaluru: MLC B M Farooq expressed his displeasure after Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi led Union Government refused foreign aide offered by UAE and Thailand for the flood affected people of Kerala.
Addressing press persons in Mangaluru on Thursday, Farooq, General Secretary of JD(S) said, "UAE has come forward to extend the aid on humanitarian grounds as Keralites have contributed greatly to the progress of their nation. There is nothing wrong if India accepts foreign aid. But unfortunately politics is being played by BJP members in this. I hope Modi realises this and accepts the benefits."
