Manipal: The Department of Speech and Hearing, School of Allied Health Sciences, Manipal University, organised a three-day national seminar on children with cerebral palsy.
Chief Guest Dr. Shrikiran A Hebbar, Professor and Head, Department of Pediatrics, KMC, Manipal, appreciated the theme of the seminar, ““Assessment and management of feeding and swallowing problems in children with cerebral palsy”. He said that children with such problems experienced major setbacks to their health and well-being.
Dr B Rajashekar, Dean, welcomed the gathering, while Dr Veena K D, delivered the theme of the workshop with an emphasis on the role of speech language pathologists and other team members involved in feeding and swallowing problems.
The national seminar was attended by over 150 delegates across the country.
