Mangaluru: In an unfortunate incident, a pedestrian was killed after he was hit by a bus at Church Cross in Surathkal on Friday morning.
Suresh (29), resident of Pachanady had come to Surathkal to meet his relative. As he was crossing the road, a speeding city bus arriving from Bokkabettu rammed into him.
He was rushed to a private hospital. However, he succumbed as he was being shifted to Wenlock Hospital for further treatment. A case has been registered.
