Pejawar Swamiji wants Ram Mandir built within year

Published On : 25 Nov 2018

Udupi: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists, religious leaders and monks who assembled have urged the central government to pave way for the construction of temple dedicated to Lord Ram at Ayodhya within a year by promulgating an ordinance towards this end. They said in unison that Ram Mandir construction is an issue that is nationalistic and apolitical in nature.

A preliminary meeting connected with the 'Janagraha Sabhe' being held in the city on December 2 urging the central government to move a bill to facilitate construction of Ram Mandir was held at the office at New Yatri Nivas.

Pejawar Sri Vishwesha Teertha Swamiji, noted that Lord Ram, Krishna, and Shiva are the three most revered gods of the county. He said that devotion and reverence the populace feels for these gods should remain and towards this end, the temple dedicated to Lord Ram at Ayodhya which will be a memorial for the Lord, should be built at any cost without further delay.
