Mangaluru: A Police constable of Panambur station was suspended on December 07 Wednesday, for sexually harassing married woman on phone. Vinay from Panambur police station is the accused .
Vinay was suspended on charges of sexually harassing a married woman by making phone calls to her repeatedly from Monday . The woman informed the DYFI and the calls were traced. Later the incident was brought to the notice of Police Commissioner Chandrasekhar, who took immediate action against Vinay.
The allegations were verified and investigated. Considering all aspects, Vinay was suspended and a case under Sections 364 a / 364 d was registered against him.
