Udupi: Former MLA Pramod Madhwaraj is confident of Congress performing well in upcoming urban locla elections. He said that Congress will again win with majoirty of setas in CMC.
“The false propaganda might have defeated us in the Assembly elections. But people have realised the fake promises of those people. During the tenure of Congress government, Udupi district has witnessed several development activities. There were no scams and we gave transparent governance. Hence, the electorate must support the Congress in the upcoming urban body polls," he said.
Madhwaraj hailed current district-in-charge minister Jayamala for encouraging the party members by campaigning in the district for a day. "She is a glamorous minister and her impact in the district is visible," he said.
