Puduchery CM Narayanaswamy blames Modi govt of being anti-farmer

Published On : 01 May 2018

Mangaluru: Chief Minister of Puduchery V Narayanaswamy was at the District Congress Office on Tuesday. Interacting with media, he said that Karnataka Government led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has fulfilled 98 % of the promises made by it to the electorate prior to the previous elections.

"Though Prime Minister Narendra Modi is claiming himself to be a friend of farmers his government has not released a single penny for waiver of farm loan. The Karnataka Government on its part has waived farm loans out of its own money. The Siddaramaiah Government has created a conducive atmosphere for industries as a result of which 24% of the investment is coming from abroad, he stated.

Lashing out at the BJP, he said it was nothing but unfortunate that the Prime Minister Modi and BJP President Amit Shah had projected a corrupt leader as its CM candidate. He also accused both Modi and Shah as opportunists.
