Python's flesh found by forest officials

Sullia: Forest officials raided a spot near River Kumaradhara at Kodimbala village near Subrahmanya after coming to know of a person cutting down a python under the railway bridge.

Forest officials on patrol duty detected this illegal incident. The accused P Joseph from Nakoor village, gave the raiding party the slip. The scooter used by the accused, and three pieces of flesh cut off from the body of python were confiscated by the forest officials.

A case stands registered under Wildlife Protection Act.
