Udupi: Shri Rajashekarananda Swamiji of Vajradehi Math and Shri Esha Vithaldas Swamiji of Kemaru Math on Saturday, visited Udupi superintendent of police (SP) Laxman Nimbargi to discuss about the death case of Shiroor Shri Lakshmivara Theertha Swamiji.

Speaking to the reporters, Shri Esha Vithaldas Swamiji of Kemaru Math said, “We discussed about progress in the death case of Shiroor Shri Lakshmivara Theertha Swamiji. Now Shiroor Swamiji is not with us. Commenting about his character after the death is not correct. I request Pejawar Swamiji to stop commenting about someone’s character. Pejawar Swamiji has taken part in many Hindu protests and activities. Now it’s time to stand united and ask for the justice. I have given information about Shiroor Swamiji’s personal life and business. He had discussed many things about his business relations with a Mumbai based businessman. Rs 10-12 crore rupees were owed by the businessman in connection with the construction of Kanaka Mall in Kalsanka. We have respect towards Swamijis of all the eight Maths. We have not commented about them publicly in any media."

Shri Rajashekarananda Swamiji of Vajradehi Math said “We have cleared our doubts with the SP related to the case. Only the departmental investigation can solve the case. As of now, there are now only some doubts and none of these is confirmed yet,” he said.
