Sorake says BJP calls Congress as anti Hindu only during elections

Published On : 04 Jul 2018

Udupi:Addressing Udupi block workers meeting at Congress Bhavan. former Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake said, "In the coastal region, BJP projects Congress as anti-Hindu during elections and thereby gets votes. But Congress seeks votes by projecting its development works undertaken in the state. In Congress 98 percent of the workers are Hindus and Congress leaders have taken leadership in developing temples. Hence calling Congress as anti-Hindus by the BJP is laughable.”

“The projects undertaken by our government will be continued by the coalition government too. People will support a pro-people government and the party workers have the responsibility of getting those welfare schemes to the public,” said Vidhana Parishad member Prathap Chandra Shetty.

Pramod Madhwaraj, former minister said, "The upcoming local elections and Lok Sabha polls are crucial for the Congress. The party workers need to start preparating immediately and need to prove BJP's false propaganda against the Congress wrong.
