Mangaluru: Three persons were taken into custody by security staff of district prison, after they tried to deliver ganja to an under-trial prisoner. They were later handed over to the police personnel of Barke station.
The arrested accused are Stevan (20), Prashant (29) and Suraj (24), all from Kuthar Padav. They have been accused of trying to deliver ganja to an inmate of the prison named Prajval, who happens to be an accused in a murder case registered in Ullal police station, and remanded to judicial custody.
Barke police have registered a case against the three and begun investigation.
