Mangaluru: Minister of food and civil supplies, U T Khader said that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has ordered strict action against moral policing in Dakshin Kannada district.
The chief minister held discussions with minister of forests and Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai and Khader in Bengaluru on Tuesday after the cabinet meeting.
"The incidents of immoral rowdism in Pilikula and Subramanya are considered seriously by the state government. A report in this connection is obtained from the department of home affairs. The chief minister has asked to control such incidents and ordered for stern action against the suspects. The chief minister has warned that the concerned officials will be held responsible if there is any laxity in the cases," Khader said.
