Udupi: Sujith Shetty, Udupi home guard has been suspended with immediate effect after selfies clicked by him with several girls went viral in social media. Sujith Shetty faced widespread criticism on social media for his selfies with the girls. The home commandant, taking note of the incident, issued an order to suspend Sujith.
Sujith Shetty has been employed in Padubidri unit of home guards for the last one-and-a-half years. He was deployed in Shirva police station a few months ago. He initially started working on night shifts and was working on day shifts also from sometime. His selfies with nearly eleven girls have gone viral in social networks. However, Shirva police said that no complaint has been received against him so far.
The police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
