Udupi: Vital organs of 17-year-old accident victim Himanshu were donated on Monday, October 10. Himansu had met with accident, when he riding pillion near Palla recently. His friend Harshith, who was riding had died on spot itself.
Cornea and kidney were donated in Manipal, his heart and liver were sent to Bengaluru through green corridor till Mangaluru airport and then by flight.
Himanshu went brain-dead few hours after the accident. His parents and family on Sunday October 9 decided to donate his vital organs. He is son of Dr Raviraj from Byndoor.
