LCS conducts 'Khoobsoorat Prakrathi' for KG section

Mangaluru: The vanamahotsava programme of the KG section of LCS was held on July 28 under the theme 'Khoobsoorat Prakrathi'.

The programme began with a prayer song. Matilda Pinto compered the programme and welcomed the gathering. The little tiny tots of LCS sang action songs and presented a dance related to the theme of the day. The principal Fr Robert D’Souza and vice principal Belita Mascarenhas were present during the programme.

The vice principal in her message encouraged the children to keep nature green and also asked a few questions on plants and trees in the surroundings.

In connection with the project, drawing and colouring competitions were held for the students of classes KG1 and KG2. Winners were felicitated by the principal during the programme. He also planted a sapling along with the staff and students. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Gloria Misquith.

Grace Roche and Matilda Pinto organized the programme.
