St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, re-accredited with A+ grade 2017 with 3.65/4 CGPA by NAAC, has partnered with Miles Education Private Limited, Bangalore, for launching CMA (USA) integrated with B.Com.

Miles Education Private Limited, Bangalore, is a leading training provider for CMA in India and globally. CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is a professional certification awarded by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) USA and is represented by members in 140 countries throughout the world.

A new programme specialized in ‘Finance and Management Accounting’ was launched to meet the growing demand of student community to get into the mainstream careers in Finance and Accounting. US CMA is a global benchmark for finance professionals. CMA gives a greater credibility, higher earning potential, and ultimately a seat at the leadership table.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru and Miles Education Private Limited, Bangalore on 12 February, 2021.

Miles Education up-skills students and professionals to help them be future-ready and enable their career progression. A student can earn their CMA, establish global credibility and avail assured placements at one of the Big 4 or MNC’s in India.

The College felt the need to have a curriculum which is industry oriented and would equip the students with relevant skills to those who are after the critical accounting and financial skills needed for today’s complex and changing Business Environment.

The signatories of the MOU were Sr Dr M Venissa A.C, Principal of St Agnes College (Autonomous) and Mr. Michael Wagner, Vice President of Miles Education Private Limited, Bangalore.

Sr Roopa Rodrigues – Vice Principal, Mrs. Nimitha K., the HOD of Commerce, Dr. Neetu, Dean of Commerce and Business Administration, Mr. Rodney Vaz, Assistant Professor of Commerce from St Agnes College as well as Mr. Vimal Kuruvilla Joseph, Assistant General Manager of Miles Education Private Limited, Bangalore were present during the occasion.
