Father of Vocational Education Famed Founder of IITC S.K Urwal Died

Mumbai (RBI), Jan.17: S.K Urwal (Sadashiva Koraginiaya Urwal)(87), founder of International Institute Training Center (IITC), India's most renowned Vocational Education Institution, known as the Father of Vocational Education is here. Sunnidhan Wadala, Mumbai died Sunday at his home here.

Koruginnayana and Kalyani Rao are the sons of Belthangady Taluk Urwal of Dakshina Kannada district. The deceased is survived by his wife, Prafulla Urwal, two sons (IITC directors Vikrant Urwal and Sandesh Urwal) and one female.

He served as the Executive Secretary of the All India Manufacturers Association and served on the Board of the Indian Foreign Trade Board (ICFI). He was a successful businessman, collecting and distributing employment, import and export related information and data nationwide.

Always a study and teaching enthusiast, he has conducted workshops and seminars on import and export management. He started a computer education, tourism and fashion design professional education institute and set up training centers across India. The IITC was founded by SK Urvala as a dream school for the future of thousands of students with a career span of nearly five and a half decades. IITC is currently globally renowned.
