Serving Past Presidents of Bunts Sangha & Billawa Association also Honoured
Mumbai (RBI), Jan.07: The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari felicitated a group of doctors and social workers who provided affordable medical services to Corona patients through the Pawan Dham Covid Care Centre Borivali at a felicitation function held at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Thursday.
The Governor also felicitated the serving and past Presidents of the Bunts Sangha, Mumbai and the Billawar Association. The felicitation function was organized by the Poinsur Gymkhana, Pawan Dham and other organisations.
Member of Parliament Gopal Shetty, MLA Parag Shah, Chairman of Bharat Vikas Sansthan Dr. Yogesh Dube and leaders from the Bunt and Billawar community were present.
The Governor also felicitated to Bunts Sangha Mumbai its current President Padmanabha S. Piyade, former Presidents Sudhakar S. Hegde, Dr. Padmanabha V. Shetty, Aikala Harish Shetty, CA.| Shankar B. Shetty, Karnire Vishwanath Shetty, Billawara Association Mumbai its current President Chandrasekhar S.Poojary, Former Presidents Varad Ullal, L.V Amin, Nithyananda D.Kotyan, Poisar Gymkhana’s Karunakara Shetty, Dr Hasmukh Thakral, Dr Bipin Doshi, Dr Nigam Vora, Dr Saurabh Sangore, Dr Ajit Waingankar, Dr Pritesh Punjabi, Dr Alok Singhi, Dr Dinesh Modi, Nirav Doshi were felicitated on the occasion.
Complimenting the doctors and social workers for their selfless work during the Covid – 19 pandemic period, the Governor said, India managed to keep its burden of Covid – 19 cases low because of the dedicated work of Corona Warriors including doctors, nurses, police personnel, paramedical staff and philanthropic individuals and organisations.
Mentioning that a society stands on the strength of sacrifices and dedicated service, the Governor complimented the past and present office bearers of the Bunts Sangha, Mumbai and the Billawar Associations for the contributions to society.
