Udupi: Vidhana Parishad opposition leader Kota Srinivas Poojary lashed out at senior Congress leader and former chief minister Siddaramaiah and called him an 'uncivilized person'.
"Siddaramaiah during campaigning had told in Shivamogga that he did now know who Halady Srinivas Shetty is. Those who are busy sleeping may not come to know who enters Vidhana Soudha. Halady Srinivas Shetty is a five time MLA. Those who were awake will know who Shetty is," Poojary said.
"Siddaramaiah was busy sleeping during his tenure. You have used objectionable language against Shetty. This shows that you are uncivilized. People will teach him a lesson," he added.
