Mangaluru: The CCB sleuths arrested a woman and two men at an apartment in Padavu, Mangaluru city, on charges of engaging in flesh trade. The arrested are Sujatha alias Arundathi (30), Manjunath (38) and Harish (53).
Acting on a tip-off that flesh trade is being carried out in an apartment, the police raided and arrested the three persons and rescued the women victims. They have also confiscated Rs 2,500 cash and two mobile phones from the arrested.
Investigations are underway. There has been an increase in immoral activities in residential areas, which is causing embarrassment to people.
Mangaluru: Police found a prostitution racket being run in a building on K S Road in the city. The activity was run under the camouflage of body massage parlour.
The police raided the place and rescued three women. Roshan, who was allegedly abetting the act, succeeded in escaping.
The raid was conducted after the police got information that prostitution was taking place in a massage parlour functioning on K S Rao Road.
