Mumbai, Sep.29: Thiya Samaj Mumbai Association, in collaboration with its east zone regional committee celebrated 10th annual Navaratri Pooja Mahotsav on Thursday at Aavishkar Banquet Hall, Uma Mall, Kanjurmarg(W).
The religious program held in the guidance of Chandrashekar R. Belchada- president of Thiya Samaj. Shri Manikanta Bhakta Vrunda Performed Bhajan, in the direction of Shibaruru Suresh L. Shetty. Later, Durgastami Pooja, Durgaradhane, and other poojas were held in the priesthood of Vidwan Ramachandra Bhat and Vidwan Ravichandra Bhat. Chairman of East Zone Regional Committee- Mohan B.M and Hemavathi Mohan couple took initiative of the Pooja.
Several members of Thiya community, children, adults and senior citizens participated in the annual utsav. At the end, Mangalarati was performed and the annual Navaratri Pooja Mahotsav and Dussehra Utsav was celebrated on a grand scale.
