Mumbai, Sep.19: The 73rd annual general meeting of Thiya Samaj was held in the presidency of Chandrashekara Belchada at Billawa Bhavan Mini Auditorium, Santacruz(E). Chandrashekara Belchada expressed his views in the occasion.

Rohidas S. Bangera- Chairman of the association, Babu T. Bangera- Member of the association, Sudhakar Uchil, Shridhar S. Suvarna, Gangadhar Kalladi, Divya R. Kotian- president of women’s wing, Mohan B.M., Padmini K. Kotekar, Prathima T. Bangera were present on the dais.

Annual meeting began with the prayer. Ramesh N. Ullal- honorable treasurer presented the annual statement of accounts and estimated budget for upcoming year. Shridhar S. Suvarna was re-elected as the editor of Thiya ‘Belaku’. For the period 2017-2018 eight new members were selected. Among the audience, Sagar Kateel, Gayathri Manjeshwar, Gopal Salian, Babu K. Belchada expressed their views. Eshwar M.L- Honorable general secretary read the past years annual report and proposed vote of thanks.

Uchil and others were present at the annual meeting.

In the annual meeting, office bearers felicitated Divya R Kotian and Ramachandra Kotian couples by offering bouquet and mementos. Also, scholarships were offered to the talented students.
